What is going on?

"You really should start blogging more according to the interests of your audience. Where is all the stuff chics want to hear about on this blog anyways?"

A) Doesn't the word "chic" refer to fashion and style or something? Just asking since we all like to misspell the word CHICK.

B) What exactly is the "stuff chicks want to hear about"? Please enlighten me.

But don't expect me to stop blogging about Jack Bauer, Eminem, Tony Soprano, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, and so on. It'll be a cold day in hell before that happens.

chic *n meaning elegance, style. *adj stylish

chick *n meaning a young bird; (sl) a young attractive woman or girl

To me "chick stuff" pretty much means the following: gossip, fashion, gossip, hot men, celebrity gossip & more gossip.

That is not stuff I get into very often. Like I said before, it's your blog. Continue to blog about what you want to. If the girls didn't enjoy it, they wouldn't keep reading now would they.

I think we like to read what a sensitive, compassionate male has to say- It's nice to know they're out there.

Men who admit to thinking seriously about marriage and the "perfect woman" are RARE these days.

You give us Hope Drew Brown!!

The other stuff (sports, TV, etc) we're used to ignoring.

Carry on.

1. Who is Jack Bauer?

2. Topics along the lines of your dating life and attitude towards dating in general would be insightful. But maybe you don't want to kiss and tell.

3. Have you ever read, "men are from mars and women are from venus?"

1. 24 star, played Keifer Sutherland.
2. I am obsessed with my boyfriend. He is a music god whom I worship daily. Yeeessssss....
3. Yes I've read that book, and I've also read The Five Love Languages book. It would do you good to invest in such a necessary tool for success.

Stupid fog horn Drew. Stop being such a chiCCCC.

Even though Anna already answered the questions...

1. Jack Bauer will change your life.

2. Dating is a dangerous topic to discuss on a damn blog.

3. Never read it.

Ok... here's my two cents, if it's even worth that much.

I actually thought the comment that was made towards Drew regarding writing stuff geared towards chicks was actually a joke... was it not?

If it was a serious comment, here are my thoughts... I feel as though by saying the things Drew writes about need to be more "chick" oriented means that "chicks" aren't interested in what he writes about. I'd have to disagree like a few others already have. I rather enjoy 24 (Jack Bauer is my hero), the Sopranos is a pretty good show (not a favorite, but I definitely don't mind watching it or hearing about it) I enjoy a lot of different kinds of music, and while I'm not a big Cubs fan (only because I know absolutely nothing about them), I do really like sports...

And I'm not trying to be mean to those of you who want to hear Drew talk more about dating, or wanting to find the perfect girl, but could you imagine if he talked about that all the time? You'd get on his case for that too...

So all that to say, I think Drew has a really well rounded blog. Writes about his interests (which also happen to be the same as a lot of our interests - females included), writes down some of his thoughts (which may or may not include thoughts on the opposite gender), writes about what's going on in pop culture, and other random tidbits.

Here's the thing... If Drew were to write about what everyone else wanted him to write about, and not what HE wanted to write about, he'd probably get bored with it pretty quick... I mean, imagine if someone asked you to write about something you had NO interest in talking about... Would you even have the desire to do it? Probably not...

And now, to bring my incredibly long winded comment to a close...

Write whatever the hell you want to, Drew.
We'll keep reading.

HAA! This is hilarious to me. Drew... set the record straight... do I drive YOU batty? Do you think I'm seriously telling you how to 'run' your blog?
Perhaps some people should realize that *some* of us are actually real-life friends with Drew and can share funny or sarcastic comments back and forth that really have nothing to do with anyone or anything else...
Just my penny...

Strangely it seems as if Anna is trying to own up to writing the chic comment to *her* friend drew.

I'd like to comment as being what appears to be the only person, other than yourself , Dook, a male. I really don't care what you write. It's entertaining because you get all of these kickass comments where chicks get all catty. Unleash the controversial joint, pimp. This is like some WGN-Gilmore-More Girl action.

If I had to side with anyone here, I'm on VBT's side. Bring on Fast Eddie Norton.
