I know I'm going a little overboard on the 24 posts, but it's 24. Deal with it. Do NOT read this article if you're trying to avoid all spoilers. Entertainment Weekly gets the scoop on some plot details.

I get excited when I hear quotes like this from the show's executive producer Howard Gordon...

"One thing we realized is, we can't get bigger than a nuclear bomb. Instead of bigger, we had to get smaller. Topping ourselves in terms of a general threat wasn't necessarily where the drama of 24 rested."

...and this one from Kiefer Sutherland....

"This show has gone back to things I loved about the first season. As much as his job was to protect the future president, it was incredibly personal because of the connection with his daughter and wife."

Music to my ears.

On another joyful note, a trailer for a new Owen Wilson movie has surfaced, You, Me, and Dupree. It doesn't look original, it doesn't look smart, it doesn't look necessary. However, Owen's presence ensures that I'll be dropping $9 when this movie comes out. Kate Hudson isn't exactly a deterrent either. And is that Will Ferrell's voice announcing the bride and groom?

Finally, is it too soon and/or entirely inappropriate for this movie? I don't know how the families feel, though some people have stated that this movie should not be made because too many details of the flight are unknown.

Actually, the idea of writing a screenplay about Laurie has crossed my mind, though I haven't spent a lot of time really brainstorming it or anything. And because I'm probably a little too controlling, I think I'd have a hard time with anyone other than me writing it. Yes, I'm a bastard.

ok here we go.
1- I think it is good to be a bastard every once and a while.
2- I like the 24 posts...again back to the Toys 'r' Us analogy
3- Owen Wilson is one of the funniest people alive...and I tend to turn to anything that includes will farrel! yea!
4- I enjoyed reading through the recent banter from previous blogs. It made me happy that few people read my thoughts!
5- have you seen 'The Ringer' yet? It was "pee your pants funny." I highly recommend this flick to release some built up laughter. GOOD TIMES.
6- I like what you blog about, and I am glad that oprah wasnt on the poll. SHE HAS ENOUGH...

I agree with you regarding the movie You, Me, and Dupree. I will say that I appreciate the last line Wilson says in the trailer. "I was just trying to set a mood." I thought I heard Dignan.

The other movie makes me sick. Still too close to me.
