And another poll!! I like the polling! That's also a homonymic sentence for one of my friends. Actually, I'll ease up on the polls after this one. After all, I'm only here to make others happy and to ignore my own wanton needs.

I recently came into the good fortune of $360 in savings bonds. Is it unwise to talk about my money on a blog? Probably. But if you wanna take it from me you'll have to get past my friends Smith & Wesson. I'll go Soprano on your ass.

Moving on, I have to decide how to spend this money. I don't feel like $360 is savings-worthy, so it'll likely be spent on something all for Drew.

The possibilities include:

} Putting it towards a refurbished PowerBook that I've wanted for a while.

} New Samsung Blade (A900) ...Samsung's answer to the RAZR. I can't get a RAZR with a Sprint account. And my current phone leaves a lot to be desired.

} New iPod. Unnecessary, but just so cool. And mine is now 'old'.

} XBox 360. Come on, it's got 360 in the name. But there's no chance XBox wins this poll. Lousy girls.

And then there's other possibilities. Such as a leather jacket, a plane ticket, 360 double cheeseburgers.....mmmmmm....

I'm leaning in one direction, but I need your input.

What should I spend $360 on?
PowerBook fund
XBox 360
Leather jacket
A date with me!
A plane ticket
Save it

I voted Xbox only because seriously, 360 and 360? I think it's a sign... plus, you'd be the envy of all the boys... I'm sure you guys would have one of those infamous marathons...

The conservative part of me says - Powerbook Fund. It's a form of saving it.

If I had the money - plane ticket for sure. I would love to get away for a while.

And why are reopening Pandora's box with "a date with me" and "blog about chick stuff"? hahahah...
Just kidding.

Have fun with your new fortune.

Every one of you choices were about how drew could spend his money on him.

Think outside the box, maybe you came accross this money fo other reasons than yourself.

Just a thought, spend however you want.

You are so frickin' funny. I'm pretty sure the phrase, "I recently came into the good fortune of ___ " was on your mind from when I was talking about my pink RAZR... hmmmm... haha, be jealous, it's fine.
P.S. Leadership training ruins everything. Boo.

Oh fellow anonymous, how righteous you are. How injust! How selfish! You know what, you're right. I personally know Drew and that was the exact angle that he takes to life. He tries to actually horde as much financial resource as he can and then foolishly squander it. You are right, he should donate it to Pat Robertson. He'll surely know what to do with this devilish resource.
I've heard Drew even speaks about himself in the 3rd person as you've suggested. The jig is up, Drew. Your best efforts to thwart we, the public, have been vested. You are nothing but a fraud, to be sure.

No amount is too small to be "savings-worthy". I hate to hear someone use a phrase like, "It's only 10 dollars" or "It's only 15 dollars". You're young now, but if you start saving now, in 15 years you might be in a position to buy your own business or something, but you'll need some cash.

Go with the 360-- but depending on the destination, in your situation I might chose the plane ticket.

With whatever you chose, enjoy it!

The other anonymous: you're absolutely right. Drew hasn't been able to sleep because he's been so looking forward to becoming an entrepreneur in the fast-paced business world. He blogs about it all the time.

re: when Bettis fumbled : I had just picked up the laptop to start my blog entry and then I thought my head might explode. It was HORRIBLE. Oh MAN! Seriously. One of the most horrible football moments ever! I about chewed my thumbs off in nervousness for the rest of the game. But they came through!
(I voted Powerbook by the way!)

"A date with me!" has 7 votes...

What is this untapped potential the poll has discovered?
