I just checked out the hits that Barb and I have received on our blogs in the last 48-72 hours and there's been quite a surge in the number. I'm sure the same can be said for Katie and Greg but I don't have access to their stats.

I wonder if the usual people are reading more often to check for "updates", or if there really are twice as many people providing the hits right now. Probably a mixture of both.

However, this is a (blood) family issue so I will not be discussing it on this blog.

I'm just trying to remind myself that the redemptive work of God is an incredible thing to behold.

I hope to see it sooner than later.

I wish to offer a third option for why website hits are reaching record heights- this being the week before Christmas- work is slow- or at least motivation to do work is low- and the internet is the most easily accessed distraction available.

Idle hands and all that.

I noticed the same thing when I went through a really rough time. I keep a blog at a different site and when I had a lot of bad things going on, it seemed like more & more people started to start reading me. That is why I started my blog on here. I felt that I couldn't be myself over there, because they were all just there to watch a "trainwreck" and were waiting for the next bad thing to happen. The only reason I stay at all, is because I DID make some wonderful friends through my blogs and I can't imagine my life without any of them.
