I finally saw Walk the Line tonight and I must say it's a very good film. A little different than I expected, but definitely lived up to the hype and I'd be happy to see it again.

Joaquin Phoenix is great as Johnny Cash, but Reese Witherspoon, who I've always liked, is the one I kept wanting to see on screen. Is that because she's beautiful? Well, partially. But she brought so much energy to every scene and helped divert attention away from a couple flaws in the screenplay.

But the most amazing part of the film is how much it left me wanting to know more about Cash. Not to mention that I was fully engaged for two hours by country music...which I usually have no use for. I want to know more of his story and his music and the impact he had on other artists.

I wish more films left me with the desire to know more about their topic, like Walk the Line did.

I have a song for you:

"Mc Chicken, Mc Chicken
you must be so sad.
You seem to be made of rubber
and that should make you sad
Once day you'll find the perfect
french fry and coke combo
Until then you need to just
let Mc Make-o... er... McFlurry go."

I have no idea where that came from. Your comments section just looked lonely.

Glad you liked the movie Drew. For more on Johnny Cash, you should relly read his books. Very cool glimpses into his life.
